Venice is the ‘city of water’ and is actually made up of 118 tiny islands that are connected by over 400 bridges!

There are about 350 gondolas in Venice. On average, they weight 600 kilos – the same as a Sumatran rhino!

Venice is known for its masks – people will often wear masks that represent their jobs or hobbies!

Welcome to Venice…!

Meet your venice Team

Your subcamp team is here to look after you and make sure you have the most awesome Norjam in 2025!

Luke

Subcamp Leader

Hi, I’m Luke!

This will be my third time at Norjam, having been on the Subcamp team in 2014, then as a Deputy Subcamp Leader in 2018.

Norjam has always been a fantastic week, and my team and I intend to make sure that’s no different for 2025!

Amy

Subcamp Leader

Hi, I’m Amy, your Deputy Subcamp Leader for Venice!

This will be my 4th Norjam – I attended in 2010 as a participant and was on Subcamp team in 2014 and 2018.

Whilst Luke has been living/working abroad I have attended our Norjam meetings with my newly born daughter, who has provided Luke’s favourite meeting interpretations!
